Chelsea Rotary Club fundraiser: soup, ornaments and more

The Rotary Club of Chelsea has reinvented its holiday fundraiser during this Christmas season.

This year, the club has partnered with Motown Soup and PL Deere Studios to offer folks opportunities to help the club while purchasing unique gifts for friends and family this holiday season.

Motown Soup, a nonprofit, is a 100-percent volunteer organization that offers a wide variety of soups, dips and baked goods and proceeds go to feed the homeless and hungry. During the last 15 years, Motown Soup has donated more than $1.25 million to organizations across the state.

Additionally, the club has partnered with local artist Pat Deere of PL Deere Studios who agreed to donate a portion of her commemorative ornament sales to the club.

1) Order your soup through Motown Soups. Be sure to let them know this is an order for the Chelsea Rotary Club.

2) Collectible Christmas ornaments made by  PLDeere Studios to go along with the gift boxed packages of soup, or individually purchased items to give your customers, family, and/or friends a complete gift set.

To add a collectible ornament to your orders from Motown Soups, order them through this link and be sure to note this is for Chelsea Rotary Soup Sales.

3) Artist Attic art auction with PLDeere Studios runs through Dec. 20 and 10 percent of the proceeds will be donated back to the Chelsea Rotary.
