Chelsea School District Community Preschool: new and improved

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Lisa Nickel for the information in this story and Melissa Struk for the photos.)

The Chelsea School District can’t wait to unveil the improvements made this summer to the Chelsea Community Preschool.
The district would like to thank John Rudolph from Anderson Paints and Aaron Babycz Painting Company, who donated all of the paint and supplies along with providing paint crews to lead volunteers to paint each room.

Everyone gave up a Friday to come and paint each preschool room so they look fresh and vibrant for the start of the school year.

In addition to the fresh coat of paint, the preschool received two separate grants from Great Start to Quality totaling almost $4,000 allowing for the purchase of new items for classrooms as well as the playground. It is an exciting start to the school year.

There are limited openings still available for the fall school year.

Contact Kris Hohnke at 433-2208 ext. 6001 for information regarding enrollment. There are a few openings also remaining for the Great Start to Readiness Preschool, a subsidized preschool for income qualifying families.
