Chelsea Senior Center update

Dear Valued Members of CSC and the Chelsea Community:

Clearly, the Coronavirus situation is causing disruptions in many lives and organizations, including our Chelsea Senor Center

As you are no doubt aware, we have been required to close until at least April 6.  While our activities are on hold, we will continue to have staff in the office each weekday to take your calls and assist you as best we can.

Thanks to our dedicated team of volunteers and the support of Chelsea Schools, the Meals on Wheels program will continue throughout this crisis.  We also, reluctantly, will be postponing the April 18 Chelsea Spring Expo to a Saturday sometime between mid-May and mid-June.

As soon as we have a new date, we will of course announce it.

Should you or any senior in the greater Chelsea community need any assistance with meals, groceries, medicines, transportation or any other vital service, please call our team at 734-475-9242 and we will do everything possible to help you through this ordeal.

Please visit our website www.ChelseaSeniors.org to catch the latest updates.

Many have contacted us regarding volunteering and we greatly appreciate that.  The best help you can provide is to reach out to your neighbors who you know to be potentially vulnerable to see what assistance you might provide.

Neighbors helping neighbors is great medicine.

Please know that we and all of the CSC family will be here for area seniors throughout the coming weeks and we look forward to welcoming them back to the Chelsea Senior Center as soon as possible.

Be well…
