Chelsea State Bank recently announced the promotion of Nancy Zander to Consumer Loan Representative. In her new position, Zander will meet with customers to help them determine the best loan to fit their needs. She is also responsible for preparing loan documents, closing loans, and assisting with consumer credit reporting.

“I am very pleased to announce Nancy’s promotion,” said John Mann, president and CEO of Chelsea State Bank in a press release. “Nancy has always focused on serving our customers. She has purposely moved throughout our bank learning different aspects of helping our customers with their loan and deposit needs.”

Zander is a career community banker with over 24 years of experience. She has moved through the ranks with Chelsea State Bank starting as a Head Teller in the Dexter Branch Office in 2000, moving to Assistant Branch Manager in 2009, and most recently to Loan Processing Clerk in 2013.

She is a certified Notary for the bank and has her NMLS License. She is a proud graduate of Chelsea High School.

“As the local community bank, it’s important to have a knowledgeable and experienced staff eager to provide the best customer service available in our market,” said Mann. “As Eileen Katakowski retired last month, Nancy stepped in with the same friendly and gracious service we came to know from Eileen. We have an excellent team at Chelsea State Bank, and we are always ready to meet the needs of our customers.”
