Chelsea State Bank promotes Patrick Couture to VP

Chelsea State Bank recently promoted Patrick M. Couture to vice president, credit officer. Couture will oversee underwriting for commercial loans as well as the Loan Processing Department. His duties also include working with senior management on audits, loan reviews, and bank examinations.

“It is with great pleasure that I announce the promotion of Pat Couture to Vice President,” said Chelsea State Bank President and CEO John Mann. “Pat’s expertise in commercial loan underwriting, policy and procedures and lending compliance are the essential skills needed as we continue to successfully grow our loan portfolio at Chelsea State Bank.”

Couture joined Chelsea State Bank in 2005 and helped to build the Credit Department he oversees today. Before joining Chelsea State Bank, Couture was an underwriter at JPMorgan Chase Bank for 15 years.

As a community banker, Couture has always been active in community service. He has volunteered for the Huron Valley Humane Society, Michigan Humane Society, Canton Community Foundation, and American Lung Association. He previously sat on the Board of Chelsea United Way.
