Greetings from Chelsea’s FIRST FRC robotics team, Team 1502 Technical Difficulties.

FIRST is the world’s leading youth robotics community, delivering hands-on STEM learning that inspires innovation, builds confidence, and prepares kids for life.

Across the globe, students thrive in our programs — powered by mentorship, teamwork, creativity, and engineering challenges.

Team 1502 has been working hard to deliver on that message by reaching out to other robotics communities nearby, as well as introducing robotics at many events. Most notable was the Sights and Sounds Kidzone event in Chelsea, where we showed off some of the robots to kids.

This year, we are excited to announce that we will be hosting our very own robotics qualifier on March 7-8. Roughly 40 teams will be here, with around 800 kids competing. Come on down to support our team and watch the game.

The competition will be held at Chelsea High School at 740 N. Freer Road.

Or if you wish to help us as a volunteer, please contact First Robotics on their website at https://www.firstinspires.org/community/volunteers. We hope to see you there.
