Later this month, there will be a familiar business moving into a vacant space on Main Street. Just Imagine will relocate from East Middle Street to 115 South Main, the old Back to the Roots space.

Owner Bill Harris says one of his priorities is to contribute to a vibrant downtown.

“Main Street has a heavy amount of foot traffic, and that’s important,” he said. “I need the bigger space, and most important, my wife can rent the basement for her charity.

Harris says that his wife, Nancy, will be leasing the basement space below Just Imagine for her nonprofit organization Hearts Community Service. Together, they pick up and deliver furniture to those in need all around the county. He says the basement will offer an interior, dry space where they can do any necessary repairs.

Harris says with the move that he will expand Just Imagine’s inventory as well.

“We’ll have more music and musical instruments, more books for adults and more toys for older kids,” he said.

Just Imagine opened in May of 2010 and specializes in toys, children’s books and musical supplies. There is an emphasis on crafts, art supplies, puzzles and games.

Harris’ tentatively plans to stay in the Middle Street location until Saturday, March 15 and to make the move right after that.
