Robin Hills Farm was purchased in 2014 with the goal to preserve agricultural land. The property began as an active farm and tourism operation in 2015.
“It’s an absolute gem of a property and is the ideal place for community events and special occasions like weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, and corporate retreats,” said Adam Kovsky, managing director of Robin Hills Farm.
“Food, farming, and community is the core of our mission. Agricultural tourism blends all three, but we wanted to set our farm apart from the usual seasonal corn mazes and pumpkin patches. We knew there was a way to elevate the farm experience by emphasizing sustainable design, farm-fresh dining, weddings and corporate retreats, and year-round classes and workshops open to the community,” Kovsky said.
He said that Chelsea has been a great place to start the business.
“We’re a people business,” he said. “There is no way we could do what we do without having great relationships in our community. Chelsea is unique because it’s got small-town charm and an incredible community spirit, and that makes it perfect for us.”
Robin Hills Farm has become known as a place to enjoy open spaces and recreation and with help from the Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce is hoping to bring back an annual Fourth of July fireworks display to the area in 2024.
One of Robin Hills main draws is the Nest Cocktail Bar & Kitchen.
“We have a fabulous new restaurant in partnership with two talented chefs, Phil and Vanessa Coulson,” said Kovsky. “These two bring decades worth of culinary experience and a commitment to quality food that you just won’t get anywhere else. I see them every week in the kitchen prepping, rolling out pasta dough by hand, braising short ribs, and making their signature duck fat dumplings. The kitchen is open every Thursday-Saturday for dinner, and Sunday for brunch.”
Coming up in November and December, Robin Hills Farm will have a buck pole with Ugly Dog Distillery, Wreathfest with Sweetwater Floral, a concert featuring the band Bovine on Thanksgiving Eve, and the Comedy on the Farm series will return in December.
