State Farm Insurance has been represented in Chelsea since 1927. Bill Ballagh has been with the company for 35 years, the last 28 years as an agent.

You could say selling insurance runs in Ballagh’s family. His father was a State Farm agent as well.
Bill Ballagh studied Insurance at Olivet College. He says working in Chelsea has been a good fit for him.
“The city of Chelsea allows you to service some really remarkable people,” said Ballagh. “Watching multiple generations grow over time is a gratifying process. The Chamber, the other businesses, and especially the people (clients or not) give the reason to stay.”
He says the only changes to anticipate in the near future is remodeling the office.
In the meantime, Ballagh promises all who visit Chelsea’s State Farm office you will always be treated with courtesy.
