City of Chelsea Parks and Rec survey, draft parks plan comments accepted

If you haven’t done so already, please take a few minutes to assist the City of Chelsea by participating in a brief, online survey regarding local city parks and recreation opportunities.

You can click City of Chelsea Parks and Recreation Survey to participate.

In addition, the Chelsea Parks Plan Steering Committee has prepared a formal draft of the 2015-2019 Parks and Recreation Plan. The plan is available for public review and comment through July 23.

  1. I would like to see have a community center in Chelsea because you get to go
    somewhere outside of your house, especially in winter, to have fun with your friends.
    It’s good for the community because people during the winter want a place to use the
    basketball court without having to rent it in advance. I really liked going to the vacation
    community center days this past winter because I got to have fun and do stuff like
    basketball, movies, wii, crafts and other activities. I hope that people fill out this survey
    so that the leaders of Chelsea know that it would be good for kids and good for the
