Not only does the Chelsea-Dexter Lamb Club have new officers, but also a new show day.
Elected last week were Savanna Burchett as president, Mason Trinkle as vice president, Michael Staebler as treasurer and Taylor Luckhardt as secretary.
About 27 youth are expected to show their sheep on Wednesday, Aug. 21 at 6 p.m. in the Multipurpose Arena.
“About the same number as last year,” said Superintendent Greg McKenzie, who shares the superintendent duties with Jerry Kuhl.
Samantha Bies, the 2011 champion, is among the exhibitors expected to show her sheep.
