Sylvan Township Supervisor David Brooks took the helm Tuesday, Dec. 1, for his first meeting as supervisor.
The board met via Zoom and approved 4-0 (Kathleen Kennedy absent) an extension of the broadband committee charter until March 31, 2021. Anyone interested in learning more is invited to participate in the meetings, which are held Mondays at 7 p.m. via Zoom.
Brooks talked about his priorities for the township, which include reducing the water system deficit, paying off the sewer system debt as efficiently as possible, expanding and improving broadband in the township, improving zoning and the zoning process, and an overall management study and comprehensive analysis of Sylvan Township.
