CCK-logo-small(Chelsea Update would like to thank Kathy Carter for the information in this story.)

On Dec. 9, from 7-8:30 p.m., Chelsea Community Kitchen will present another of its Healthy Holiday classes.

This time the group will focus on vegan baking ideas that are perfect for celebrating with friends and family throughout the holiday season.

Vicki Brett-Gach, certified vegan lifestyle coach and personal chef, will demonstrate some easy and delicious vegan treats – without using any butter, milk, or eggs.

On the holiday menu: Baked Cranberry, Apple, and Pear Crumble; Chocolate Peanut Butter Button Cookies; and Mini Pumpkin Cupcakes with Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting.
In addition, you can learn what vegan baking is all about, what makes vegan different from vegetarian, and ask lots of questions.

Details about class and registration at the CCK website. Fee: $15.
