Dexter Township offices remain closed through July 5

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Harley Rider for the information in this story.)

The Dexter Township offices will remain closed to the public, except for necessary appointments, through July 5.

We anticipate opening the office lobby for normal business on Monday, July 6.

Starting Monday, June 5, 2020 and continuing through July 2, township staff will be in the office Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to answer phones.

The Zoning Office will take appointments for issues that can’t be handled by email or over the phone. Documents and paperwork can be exchanged in the office vestibule. The outer doors will be unlocked and there is a doorbell in the vestibule to get the attention of staff.

Meetings of the Township Board, Zoning Board of Appeals and Planning Commission will continue to be held via Zoom for the month of June. All such meetings are open to public participation and access info will always be posted on our website homepage the Friday preceding any meeting. www.dextertownship.org

The Dexter Township Board appreciates your patience through these difficult times and we hope to get back to full normal operation in July.
