Diane Horning and Darrin Buss Recognized for Contributions at Agriculture Banquet

More than 200 people were in attendance at the 2025 Washtenaw County Agriculture Banquet on March 13 where both Diane Horning and Darrin Buss were recognized for their many contributions to agriculture.

In addition, it was announced that five classes of third graders from Chelsea would be among the 26 schools that will take part in the 35th year of Project RED (Rural Education Day) held each year at the Washtenaw County Farm Council Grounds, this year on April 22-24.

The popular banquet took place at Chelsea High School and was catered by Chelsea Food Services.

In addition, Washtenaw County FFA and 4-H members were recognized for their outstanding participation in agriculture-related competitions held during 2024.
