Faith in Action, (FIA) a local non-profit that provides basic and emergency services to the area’s low income households, is looking for shift volunteers. In addition to a food pantry and clothing room, FIA’s mission is to help prevent low-income neighbors from becoming homeless.
There are two shifts: from 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 12:30-4 p.m. and 4-7 p.m. on Wednesdays. Each shift needs 3-5 volunteers.
Faith in Action is open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., and on Wednesdays until 7 p.m. About 40-50 volunteers are needed per week.
