The building improvement fund began with pledges generated at the FIA Annual Benefit Banquet last April and was completed with a $10,000 gift from the Community Benefit Fund from SJMC.

Nancy Graebner, CEO and president of the hospital, Ann Feeney of the hospital board, Judy Stratman,  Kathy Schell and Reilly Curran were all on hand for the festivities, which followed the monthly board meeting of the FIA Board.

The laundry and shower room facility will be used enable people experiencing a crisis or homelessness to take care of basic physical needs, and will also allow FIA volunteer staff to prepare items for the Clothing Room.
