Fantasy Studios assists with local history project

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Amanda Huey for the information and photo in this story.)

Fantasy Studios was honored to help out with a local historical project involving local one-room schoolhouses.

Fantasy Studios’ owners were contacted to take this photo from a DVD and turn it into a restored, high-quality image.

The school in the photo is Schenk School in Chelsea, which burned down years ago when a farmer’s nearby grass fire got out of control and accidentally set the school on fire.

The only photo of this historic schoolhouse is on a DVD of Chelsea history but the original photo seems to be lost.
