Feb. 12-13: Fundraising ‘friendship suckers’ at South Meadows Elementary

South Meadows Elementary School logo

(Chelsea Update would like to thank the staff of South Meadows Elementary for the information in this story.)

Student Leadership students at South Meadows Elementary School will be selling “Friendship Suckers” on Wednesday, Feb. 12 and Thursday, Feb. 13.

Friendship Suckers will be sold in the library during lunch, and they cost 25 cents.

The school’s Student Leadership students voted to purchase a bench for the main bus entrance of South Meadows, and this is a fundraiser for the project.

They hope to have the bench in place for the beginning of spring.

So, please stop by the library, and help spread “Positively South Friendship”.

  1. What ever happened to the word lollipop? “Friendship Suckers” just sounds so wrong in so many ways.
