Publisher’s note: I realize this is not in Chelsea, but I know that lots of folks enjoy these trails so thought you might want to attend this event.
There will be another Border-to-Border Trail groundbreaking ceremony hosted by the Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission (WCPARC), The Huron-Clinton Metroparks and HWPI.
Everyone is invited to celebrate the start of work on the 1.2 mile extension of the B2B starting the in Dexter-Huron Metropark, extending to Zeeb Road.
The event will take place on Saturday, Feb. 9 from 11-12:30 p.m. at Dexter-Huron Metropark 6535 Huron River Dr., Dexter.
This event is open to everyone and is family friendly.
There will be bonfires, s’mores, warm refreshments and an interpretive trail walk.
