Former Chelsea High School track athletes have great weekend at college indoor championships

It was a great weekend for former Chelsea High School track and field athletes.

Below are results from the indoor track championships.

  • August Pappas was 5th in the Big Ten 5000 meter run with a huge Personal Record of 14:06  (basically 4:31 per mile pace).
  • Danielle Dahl was 7th in the MAC in the 800, running 2:18.
  • Bryce Bradley won the GLIAC 3000 meter contest with a new league and field house record of 8:11. (Just over 4:20 per mile). He has now qualified for nationals in both the 3K and 5K.
  • Berkeley Edwards, a University of Minnesota sophomore, made the finals in the 60 meter dash in the Big Ten meet. His 6.78 was the fifth fastest time in the league.
