Four for four and showing for more this week in Kalamazoo

Four green qualifying ribbons and three white fourth place ribbons.

I promised I’d keep everyone updated on my dog show adventures.

Buzz and I are home from Flint and Cleveland with four green ribbons. Why is that important? Because we need 10 green (qualifying) ribbons to attain a Rally Master title. The white ones are fourth-place ribbons.

We got scores of 90, 85, 96 and 89 out of a possible 100 in our first four shows and hope to improve on those as we gain confidence showing in this new class where there are lots of left and right spinning moves, which are tough for someone who has trouble with her left and right. I have spent a lot of time since getting home practicing them so I don’t have to think (too much) on course.

Now, six more to go and we head out again Thursday to Kalamazoo to show four days in a row, and I’ll be driving back and forth this time.

Keep those positive thoughts coming to Team Buzz as I hope to be one of the first in the country to attain this title.
