The 2016 Senior Resource Guide is now available both online and in print.
The guide provides contact information and phone numbers for a variety of services particularly for low-income seniors. These include everything from housing information and chore and maintenance help to substance abuse support and emergency services.
“Last year Catholic Social Services was able to provide the guide to more than 12,000 individuals, and we’re doing the same this year” said Larry Voight, president of Catholic Social Services of Washtenaw County. “This is our 18th year putting together and distributing the guide. We are proud that seniors look for it each year and tell us that it’s easy to use, connects them to real people who can help, and is an overall life-saver.”
The on-line version of the directory is available at www.csswashtenaw.org/seniors and www.BlueprintforAging.org.
Printed copies are available during business hours at 5361 McAuley Dr. Ypsilanti on the campus of St. Joseph Mercy in the Towsley Building starting Monday, Jan. 8.
