This Christmas season, you can give a gift that keeps on giving.
The Chelsea Community American Red Cross is hosting a blood drive at the First United Methodist Church on Thursday, Dec. 6 from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
The church is located at 128 Park St.
“The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community,” according to information about the event. “Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime.”
