Although there are all kinds of wonderful events taking place during Hometown Holiday on Friday, Nov. 30 and Saturday, Dec. 1 during the 25th annual community festival, residents also have some exciting events to look forward to on Sunday, Dec. 2.

You might call Sunday, a day of music because there will be lots of it performed throughout the day at different venues.

At 11:30 a.m., Chelsea choirs will sing at Chelsea McDonald’s to accompany the annual stocking giveaway where people have a chance to win a 6-foot tall stocking packed with donated items from local merchants.

Then there will be two free concerts by the Chelsea Chamber Players at the First United Methodist Church. The first performance is at 3 p.m. and the second is at 7 p.m. Students from the high school chamber orchestra will also perform.

Plus, local church choirs will sing Christmas songs during the Festival of Lessons & Carols at the Chelsea Retirement Center Chapel on West Middle Street beginning at 6:30 p.m.
