Jan. 11: Science Saturday at the Chelsea District Library

CDL logo-1Winter means Science Saturdays at the Chelsea District Library with the U-M Museum of Natural History.

Beginning on Jan. 11 (as well as Feb. 8 and March 8) staff from the museum will be on hand for special programs from 2-3 p.m. in the KidSpot, Registration is required and the programs are suitable for children ages 6-12 accompanied by an adult.

The world can be a brutal place – eat or be eaten. To deal with this constant dilemma hunters and the hunted have evolved different strategies to give themselves a fighting chance.

Join us on a 3-workshop journey through time as we explore the strategies that predators and prey have used to try to keep a leg up on the competition, according to information about the event.
