Mark your calendar now for a Quarter Mania benefit for St. Louis Center on Jan. 20. Check out our Facebook page Columbus Ladies Auxiliary for all the details.
Quarter Mania is a cross between a vendor home party and an auction. At 6 p.m., you can begin to shop ’till you drop” with 18 different vendors inside the Columbus Hall and Banquet Center, 8265 Dexter-Chelsea Road, Dexter.
Special auctions include a basket filled with items from stores participating in the Chelsea Chocolate Extravaganza (Feb 6), gift certificates from Main Street Ann Arbor (Restaurant Week Jan 17-22) and the Dexter K of C Fish Fry.
Special drawing – bring bags of rummage sale donations to Quarter Mania for our annual Rummage Sale Feb 4-6. For every rummage donation bag you bring to the Jan 20 Quarter Mania, you receive a chance to win $25 worth of quarters. Bring 1 bag = 1 chance, 2 bags = 2 chances, etc. Winner will be drawn at the Jan. 20 Quarter Mania.
Crab Feast – His Eye is on the Sparrow will be selling tickets to their “All you can eat fresh San Francisco Dungeness Crab feed” on March 5 at the Columbus Hall and Banquet Center, Dexter.
At 7 p.m., the Quarter Mania auction begins. Purchase bidding tools 1 for $3 or 2 for $5, etc. Bring plenty of quarters to bid 1-4 quarters on items provided by the vendors. There’s also a mystery table planned.
