John and Gloria Mitchell celebrate 50 years of marriage

John and Gloria Mitchell will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 14 with a gathering at their lake home.

Their children are John and Cindy Mitchell, Michael and Stacey Mitchell, and Amy Mitchell and Jason Wickman. They also have eight grandchildren: Wesley, Mason, Ryan, AJ, Kyle and Sophie Mitchell, and Katie and Alex Wickman.
