The last of the strawberries will be available this Wednesday at the Chelsea Farmers Market.

Kapnick Orchards will have strawberries, both sweet and tart cherries, and raspberries, along with sugar snap peas, nut butters, and sweet treats.

Kapnick Orchards is located at 4245 Rogers Highway in Britton. The farm, which is located near Tecumseh, opened in 1961. The current owners are Sharon and Bruce Shaffer and Scott Robertello.

In addition to growing a large variety of fruits and vegetables, Kapnick Orchards has its own cider mill and bakery, and offers you pick options at the farm.

Also at this Wednesday’s market, you can find French baked goods, cookies, fresh greens and potatoes, jams, cheeses, meats, eggs, and honey.

The market is located at the Chelsea State Bank parking lot at the intersection of M-52 and Old US-12 and runs from 1-5 p.m.

Among the vendors at this season’s Wednesday market are Jacob’s Fresh Farm Shares, K’s Acres, Needle Lane Farm, Pregitzer Farm, Bordine Farms, Golden Fleece Farms, Marks Farm, Kapnick Orchards, Affeathermations, LA Baguette, Stone Hearth Bakery, Awakened Provisions, Sweet & Salty (cookies), Smellz So Good (candles), and Jam Man.
