Head to Palmer Commons this Saturday from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. and enjoy the fresh foods, artisans, music, and ambiance of the farmers market.
Look for peaches, cherries, and blueberries.
Stop by the Goetz Greenhouse and Family Farm stand this Saturday for sweet corn, tomatoes, green beans, zucchini, peppers, onions, beets, and other freshly picked vegetables along with plants and flowers. Luke, Sally, Sonja, and Alex Goetz know their inventory. They’ve been coming to the Chelsea Saturday Farmers Market for nine years from their home in Blissfield and appreciate the support from the Chelsea community.
You’ll also find fresh baked goods at the market along with hot sandwiches and seasonings.
This week’s music will be provided by Keith Parmentier.
There is a new regional (Chelsea, Grass Lake, Manchester and Stockbridge) food assistance program to help get healthy market food on the tables of those in need. It’s aimed at folks who don’t quite meet SNAP criteria. Be sure to inquire at the market.
