(Chelsea Update would like to thank John Groesser for the information in this story.)

Christian bands “Amplified Version,” Stillwater Creek” and “City of Nations” are among those who will be performing July 25 and 26 as part of the Chelsea First Assembly of God‘s annual open house held on the church’s property next to the Chelsea CVS at 14900 E. Old US 12.

In addition to the bands, individual artists Kevin Bordine and Jean Watson are scheduled to perform along with inspiring messages from featured speaker, Art Thomas, international evangelist.

Friday’s concerts begin at 5 p.m. with Thomas speaking from 7-8 p.m.

Saturday’s events begin at noon with the last event ending around 8:30 p.m. Thomas will be speaking Saturday afternoon at 3:45 p.m. and Sunday morning at 11 a.m.

The event will provide fun and entertainment for the whole family including free hot dogs and drinks, a bouncy house, games and train rides (provided by Little Conductors, LLC) for children and a rummage sale benefiting Assembly of God’s Speed the Light program.
