The Washtenaw County Road Commission is expected to close the Jackson Road Bridge over Mill Creek, between Parker and Steinbach roads in Lima Township, beginning on Monday, June 16.
The closure is expected to last into August.
The Road Commission plans to rehabilitate the bridge and make road improvements in the area.
So, during the closure, a detour will send motorists to Baker Road and I-94. Access for local traffic on Jackson Road will be maintained during the closure. However, there will be no through traffic or pedestrians allowed across the bridge.
Please reduce speeds and drive cautiously through the work zone.
