Every Wednesday at the Chelsea Farmers Market, as well as every Saturday, expect to find Vogue Booge 100-percent soy candles for sale. Jeb Booge runs the stand with the help of some reliable friends and relatives, including son, Jake.
“Some of our most popular candles come from our Michigan line, which is based on locations like Traverse City cherries, Mackinac Island fudge, Red Haven Peach, and Sleeping Bear Dunes pine,” said Jake Booge. “Our flower-scented candles are also popular like lavender, orchid, lilac and bees wax.
The soy candles are all natural and only sold at farmers markets. They come in a variety of sizes from 3 ounces to 20 ounces.
In addition, you’ll find plenty of seasonal produce at the Wednesday market, along with cheese, meat, and a variety of French baked goods.
The market is located at the Chelsea State Bank parking lot at the intersection of M-52 and Old US-12 and runs from 2-6 p.m.
These are the Wednesday vendors, though not every vendor is guaranteed to be there.
