June 25: Chelsea Human Rights Commission to share survey results

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Susan Morrel-Samuels for the information in this story.)

The Chelsea Human Rights Commission would like to share the results of the community survey it undertook last year.

The survey was intended to gauge community attitudes on human rights and social justice and specifically how they apply to the city and surrounding area.

Please join them for the presentation and discussion on Tuesday, June 25 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the McKune Room of the Chelsea District Library.

The survey will serve as the basis for future actions of the commission.  Community response and suggestions will be encouraged.

The survey was conducted online and made available by hard copy.  Responses were obtained from 690 individuals and 11 organizations.

For more information, contact Susan Morrel-Samuels, chair of the HRC at  [email protected].
