June 7: What to Expect at the Wednesday Farmers Market

Visit the Wednesday Chelsea Farmers Market this week for a huge variety of plants.

You’ll find vegetable, annual, and perennial plants, as well as colorful hanging plants.

Fresh greens, asparagus, rhubarb, radishes, potatoes, micro greens and more will also be for sale along with cheeses, eggs, breads, cakes, cookies, and pretzels.

Look for jewelry, pottery, and crafts as well.

The Wednesday market runs from 1-5 p.m. and is located in the Chelsea State Bank parking lot at 1010 S. Main St. near the corner of Old US-12 and M-52.

Enjoy the music of Chelsea’s own Bill Personke during the market. He’ll be playing a familiar blend of rock, folk, and rhythm and blues.

Longtime visitors to the farmers markets probably knew William Quickdraw-McGraw who died May 31. Kapnick Orchards announced his passing with this obituary:
