Riley Redgate: Come home to my heart
Come home to my heart is a young adult novel exploring first love, queerness and religion, and LGBTQ+ youth homelessness. It is also a fantastically written novel destined to become a classic. Chicago author Riley Redgate will be in conversation with Rev. LeAnn Soto.
Riley Redgate (she/her/hers) is the author of four YA novels. Her fifth YA novel, Look No Further, was published under her real name, Rioghnach Robinson, and was co-written with her sister, Siofra Robinson. Riley grew up in North Carolina and now lives in Chicago.
Rev. LeAnn Seto (she/her/hers) is a clinical social worker and worship coordinator for Parables at Chelsea First United Methodist Church. Diversity and disability have long been a part of her family, and she and her spouse are active in supporting individuals and families who have been especially harmed by exclusion or stigma.
There will be a Q&A following the conversation and the opportunity for book signing.
