Make it your New Year’s resolution to try a new hobby and meet new people. You will surely get addicted to the fun easy sport of pickleball and increase your circle of friendships.
Register now at Chelsea Community Education for the opportunity to experience the joy. Training will be offered twice this winter in 4-week sessions starting Jan 17.
“Learn to Play” and “Drill and Play” sessions are offered this winter locally at the WSEC gym on Tuesday evenings.
Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America and played on small courts with a paddle and ball typically with four players. You will find it easy to learn and to play with friends and family.
Each week, participants will learn specific drills and game skills. The second part of each weekly session will include gameplay. No matter your age or ability you will be able to enjoy being active and the social benefits of meeting new people in the community. There will be a 14-player max per session so lots of learning plus playing time.
Please wear athletic clothes and court shoes/gym shoes preferred and we will provide a paddle and balls. No need to bring a partner as matchups will be rotated constantly during sessions.
Come on out, join the pickleball craze, and see what everyone is talking about.
