Letter to the Editor: Support Kathleen Kennedy for Sylvan Township Supervisor

Dear Editor:
I don’t see any yard signs for Kathleen Kennedy for Sylvan Township supervisor.  She just focuses on her work and representing the people of Sylvan Township. So, I wanted to speak up about what a great Supervisor she is and encourage all to vote for her in the November election.

Kathy was Clerk for many years and was instrumental in most operations of the Township.  I worked with Kathy when she was Clerk, as the Sylvan Township Election Chairperson. She was very supportive, and worked long hours to run an efficient, secure, and fair election. Since Kathy took over as Supervisor, Amanda Nimke is also doing a great job, well trained by Kathy.

As the Supervisor, Kathy works very hard for us. She really listens to people, is always considerate and respectful, and is interested in working with all constituencies. She is bridging the historic divide between the City of Chelsea and Sylvan Township—something that has been needed for decades. Kathy runs civil and informative township meetings. What a blessing!

We need Kathleen Kennedy to keep working for us in Sylvan Township. Please vote for Kathy for Sylvan Supervisor this fall!
