Letter to the Editor: Thank You Chelsea Department of Public Works

Dear Editor:

Stopping the publication of constant negative centered letters related to issues in the city is an understandable choice.

There are topics which continue to trouble me but, this letter is to say thank you to all the city workers who perform a steady dependable service to the taxpayers.

You know like picking up leaves and removing snow at all hours of the day in winter.

I’ve received help from the electrical department who removed limbs too close to power lines.

Bagged leaves and properly stacked branches are regularly picked up. Anytime I have asked for help it has been provided.

During the governmental transition, the city public works departments have carried on providing services without complaint.

I am truly grateful to have city workers who are dedicated to the city of Chelsea. Their actions speak of how fortunate the people of Chelsea are to receive such service.

So instead of constant complaints how about next time you see a city worker thank them for their service.

Respectfully,

Michael D. McIntosh
Chelsea
