Lima Township Hall

By Lisa Carolin

The Lima Township board got together in person Monday, April 13, for its monthly meeting.

According to Lima Township Supervisor Craig Maier, no members of the public attended, and board members observed proper social distancing.

Maier said the board approved the budget and special meeting minutes from March 16 as well as the regular meeting minutes from that date.

The board also approved a new contract with Carlisle/Wortman Associates for consulting services that included three-year rate adjustments.

Maier reminds everyone that Lima Township offices are closed to the public until further notice. No one is in the offices, but employees are still reading emails and contact information is on the township website- https://www.twp-lima.org.

There will be a meeting at Lima Township Hall on Monday, April 20, at 1 p.m. when planners from Carlisle Wortman Associates will train members of the Lima Township Planning Commission how to conduct a virtual meeting.

The planning commission is scheduled to meet on April 27.
