Lima Township Supervisor Craig Maier recently received an email from the E.T. Rover Pipeline company that there will be folks performing initial land clearing with chain saws throughout the path of the pipeline.
The company has received FERC approval to begin the initial land clearing for the project, Maier said, adding that there will be no heavy equipment involved at this point.
He said the work is expected to take place throughout the township along the main power lines.
