The Michigan Association of Chiropractors’ (MAC) Board of Directors recently elected Dr. Lisa Olszewski, of Precision Spinal Care in Chelsea as director of financial affairs.
“This is a tremendous honor,” Olszewski said in a press release.
“I am extremely proud to be the first woman to serve on this important body,” she said, adding, “This is a critical time for the chiropractic profession in the state of Michigan, and knowing that the membership of this outstanding organization trusts me to be a member of their leadership team is truly humbling.”
As Director of Financial Affairs, Olszewski will serve as liaison between the MAC Executive Committee, the audit & budget, and the membership recruitment & benefits committees.
Olszewski is the winner of the 2012 MAC Rising Star Award, and is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.
She represents District 4 on the MAC Board of Directors, which includes Washtenaw, Ingham, Livingston, Jackson, Hillsdale, and Lenawee counties. She is also an active member of the American Chiropractic Association, National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association, and the Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce.
Olszewski’s term runs through December 31, 2014.
