Looking for something fun to do on a deary winter day — here’s a thought

Recycle Ann Arbor is hosting Earth Day Reuse Contest with cash prizes for residents of several counties including Washtenaw, so if you’re looking for something fun to during during a long winter’s day, why not make something creative or functional and have a chance at a cash prize for your efforts?

And, if you do decide to enter let me know and I’ll do a story about your efforts.

“The competition seeks to raise awareness of the environmental benefits of reuse and the value of discarded materials, focusing on the reuse of material in artistic and functional ways,” according to a press release from Recycle Ann Arbor.
