Maps for a self-guided fall color, Sandhill Crane tour at the Discovery Center

Large numbers of Sandhill Cranes can be seen in parts of the Waterloo Recreation Area near Chelsea through late November.

And visitors may pick up free maps to the best fall color routes and crane viewing areas around the Waterloo Recreation Area at the Discovery Center. Plus, the film “The Sandhill Crane Story” will be shown on request.

The Gerald E. Eddy Discovery Center is located at 17030 Bush Road in Sylvan Township.
