March 8: Learn what’s for (an animal’s) lunch at the Discovery Center

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Kathy Claflin for the information in this story.)

On Sunday, March 8 from 2-3 p.m., representatives from Lansing’s Potter Park Zoo will bring live animals to the Discovery Center at 17939 Bush Road in Sylvan Township.

Participants will learn about some of the amazing strategies these animals have for catching food and how they avoid becoming dinner themselves.  You’ll learn about camouflage, stalking techniques, and more.

The cost is $2 per person or $5 for a family and advance registration is requested at 734-475-3170.
