If you’re downtown Monday, be sure to stop by the Chelsea Bakery, which will be open Monday, May 12 at 6 a.m. in the former Glee space.
Kim and Saing Yam let us know this weekend that all the inspections have been completed, and they will be opening their doors bright and early and serving their baked goods until 5 p.m.
The former owners of the Dexter Bakery and the current owners of the Pinckney Bakery, have been eagerly awaiting their opening day in their new Chelsea location, but have been waiting for all the inspections to be completed.
The husband and wife, and their children, plan to keep both bakeries open and serve the same tasty donuts, fritters, cupcakes, pretzels and other specialty goodies at holiday time, regulars to the Pinckney Bakery have come to know and love.
A donut is 90 cents, a full sheet cake for $39.99, and the Yam’s plan to have yummy items for every budget and great coffee, too.
