St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dexter and the Servants of Charity congregation are sponsoring a parish fundraising event to benefit the developmentally disabled residents of St. Louis Center on Saturday May 14 at 7:30 p.m. at their “Country Church” located at 6805 Mast Road near North Territorial Road in Webster Township.
Recording artist Michael Russell O’Brien, a former rock singer, will perform classic Catholic music favorites and relate inspirational stories about his conversion back to the faith through his special devotion to Our Lady of Medjugorje. Michael has a #1 Catholic YouTube music video called Hail Mary/Gentle Woman, and his Facebook page is a popular Catholic fan page.
This concert will be a great event for the whole family.
A Mass to celebrate the Solemnity of Pentecost will be offered at the church beginning at 5 p.m. and the doors for the concert will open at 7 p.m.
Tickets for the concert are $10, and all proceeds will be donated to St. Louis Center.
