Monday, May 29 is Memorial Day and in Chelsea, the annual parade will begin at 10 a.m.
Participants will gather in the municipal parking lot downtown, and the parade route will be south on Main Street, east on Park Street, north on East Street, and east on Middle Street and continue into Oak Grove Cemetery.
The parade and ceremony following it is hosted by the Herbert J. McKune American Legion Post 31.
There will then be a ceremony to honor veterans at Oak Grove Cemetery that begins immediately after the parade.
Once everyone is in the cemetery, Rick Finch will deliver this year’s speech.
