Experience the enchanting exhibition “Whimsy & Wonder” at Gallery 100, located at Silver Maples of Chelsea. This unique showcase features the artistic talents of Joanne Porter and David Kaemming, celebrating the interplay of texture, color, and imagination through watercolor and mixed media.
On display from May 6 to June 27, ‘Whimsy & Wonder’ invites art lovers to explore these two artists’ distinct yet harmonious styles.
Kaemming brings earthiness and playfulness to his mixed-media works, crafted from clay and handmade paper. His pieces are enriched with various textures and subtle surface treatments, encouraging viewers to delve deeper into their complexity.
In contrast, Porter captures the fleeting beauty of fresh blooms in her expressive floral paintings. She uses vibrant layers of color to convey the movement and delicacy of flowers, creating compositions that evoke a sense of life and energy.
A celebratory opening reception will take place on May 18 from 3-4 p.m. at Gallery 100, at 100 Silver Maples Dr.
