During the month of October, the 1st and 2nd grade classes at North Creek Elementary School had a Read at Home competition to increase the amount of time students practice reading at home.
The top two classes in each grade level who met their at-home reading goals won a field trip to the Chelsea District Library.
Mrs. Ryan, Ms. Collins, Mrs. Tracht and Ms. Zagatas’ classes were the winning classes, and the students enjoyed a morning of crafts and storytelling with the Chelsea District Library staff.
This is one of the many examples of why we are so grateful for our partnership with the Chelsea District Library.
